NEW PADDOCK REGULATIONS TO BEGIN MONDAY, APRIL 6

In accordance with the Nebraska State Racing Commission, there is a trial of a new saddling process to create more mandatory COVID-19 social distancing.

With an example of a ten-horse field, we will allow Group A of the field (numbers 6 – 10) to enter the paddock first and be saddled with a one open stall gap between each horse.

Once the Group A has been saddled, they will circle in the paddock and then Group B (numbers 1 – 5) will be let in. When that group is stalled, Group A (6 – 10) will be led outside into the walking ring that Group B (1 – 5) has just departed.

Once all horses have been saddled, Group B (1 – 5) will have riders-up and then the riders for Group A (6 – 10) will have riders-up outside to complete the post parade.

We will define the outdoor walking ring for all to be aware.
If this method does not work, we will try something else. Your cooperation is necessary.
Thank you!
